After 51 days and 3,350 submissions, Yahoo Style have announced the top 20 artists of the global costume contest for the upcoming sci-fi film, VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS!
Submissions were received via Talenthouse, the open-source artistic platform, with entries from all over the world including France, US, UK, Germany and Italy.
The selected designers were handpicked by writer/director Luc Besson, along with the help of costume designer Olivier Bériot and Editor in Chief of Yahoo Style, Joe Zee. Besson said,
“I personally went through each and every submission, and every design was truly exceptional and unique, yet lent itself to the world of Valerian wonderfully. It was very difficult to narrow down the top 20 from such incredible options, but we are extremely pleased with the selections we have made.”
